I am a photographer who specializes in interiors and architecture of residential and commercial premises. I also do portrait work and the photography of events.
I have many years experience in photography. I am familiar with the use of specialised lenses for perspective correction in architectural or macro work to the techniques to be used in the capture and post-production for very high quality low light images.
I can set up multiple lighting for studio results practically anywhere: outdoors, in a street, or at the premises or the home of a client, for portrait work, for close-up photography, to document valuables or to prepare product photos for website use.
MY UNIQUE SELLING POINTS:
My care and attention to detail in responding to a client’s brief. My many years in photography give me a solid foundation to address any challenge. My past experience of work in other industries: law, fundraising consultancy and higher education give me a great deal of understanding of the needs of the client and how to guide and direct those who are being photographed. I have also lived and worked in Russia and Argentina, and I am able to communicate effectively with people of many different backgrounds.
HOW SOMEONE WOULD START A CONVERSATION WITH A PERSON THAT THEY THINK COULD BE REFERRED TO ME:
First, it is important to identify potential referrals. These could be people that say to you “We’re in the process of updating the website of our business” or “I took some photos with my mobile phone but they were not good enough” or “I need a headshot” or “We are organising a conference”. Most often than not people do not verbalise “I need a photographer”. At this point, therefore, it is important for you to say perhaps something like “I realise you will be needing good photography for …. (e.g. your website, your business, your conference, etc.) and I know the right person to help you with this.”
WHO WOULD BE A GOOD CLIENT?
Anyone who needs good photography for their business. Architects and interior designers who need good photography to show their completed work. Builders who want to show the before and after of a construction project, or if they want to document the building process. People that need a headshot that stands out. People that need good photography to cover an event.
